CERRITOS — Cerritos-based ABC Unified School District has submitted reopening plans with the state of California and is now preparing for elementary school students to return to campus. 

When students return, schools will operate under a hybrid schedule, district officials said. Virtual learning will remain available for families who prefer to continue online instruction. 

No reopening dates have been announced but district officials said they will share more information with the public as details become available.
