Warren High School Humanitarian Society President Debora Jeong took first place at the Optimist International Area Oratorical Contest Tuesday night in South Gate.  She is pictured with Optimist District Oratorical Chair Marie Durflinger.  Debora will be one of just four female students competing for a $2,500 scholarship in the upcoming Pacific Southeast District Contest on May 17 in Long Beach.  The district encompasses major parts of Southern California and Nevada and all of Hawaii.
