22 women accuse former softball coach of sexual assault

DOWNEY — Detectives are searching for more potential victims of an accused sexual predator who coached softball and baseball in Downey and surrounding communities.

Randy Headley was arrested earlier this year after multiple women accused him of sexually assaulting or harassing them at his Paramount-based company.

Headley owned and operated a silk screen printing business that did business as Logos Two, LA Clothing Company and Downey Sporting Goods.

According to investigators, Headley recruited and hired young women between the ages of 17 and 25 to handle t-shirt merchandise and customer service. The women were also asked to model suggestive company apparel while Headley photographed them.

The business provided apparel to local schools, sports organizations and community groups. Headley also volunteered as a youth baseball and softball coach in Downey, Paramount and Compton.

Headley was arrested and charged with sexual battery on May 1. On Monday, authorities filed more charges against him, including aggravated sexual assault of a child under 14, assault with intent to commit rape, multiple counts of sexual penetration by force, and sexual battery.

In all, 22 women have accused Headley of sexual assault and detectives said there could be more victims.

Anyone who was a victim of Headley is urged to call investigators at (877) 710-5273 or by email at specialvictimsbureau@lasd.org

Headley is currently being held on $6.2 million bail. He is scheduled to be arraigned Oct. 8 on the additional charges.
