Construction has been slow at times, but Downey Gateway, the food court development at Firestone Boulevard and Downey Avenue, is a just few months away from opening, according to the site's Facebook page.

The food court is expected to include a Roundtable Pizza, Subway, Fresh Cutt Carving Grill, Burger City Grill and more.
