Letter to the Editor: Lack of love for animals

Dear Editor:

Where is the love? Is the world insane? We go to foreign lands to fight terrorism, but our hands are stained with animal blood, and our bellies are filled with their flesh.

We will never know peace as long as we hurt those that came into this world with no voice, the silent citizens that share this planet with us. This is not how a civilized society conducts itself. 

Speciesism is racism, and if you have no clue what I am talking about, you really need to watch
“Earthlings”, especially if you are a political leader in the 21st Century, because there is no excuse
for the way that we are treating the animals that share this planet with us.
