‘Come From Away’ making Pantages Theatre debut

HOLLYWOOD – “Come From Away,” the Tony and Olivier Award-winning Broadway musical, will make its Pantages Theatre debut for a limited one-week engagement May 7-14.

“Come From Away” is based on the events in the Newfoundland town of Gander during the week following the September 11 attacks, when 38 planes, carrying approximately 7,000 passengers, were ordered to land unexpectedly at Gander International Airport.

The musical won a host of awards, including the Tony Award for “Best Direction of a Musical” and the Olivier Awrd for “Best New Musical.”

Performances are Tuesday through Thursday at 7:30 pm, Friday at 8 pm, Saturday at 2 pm and 8 pm, and Sunday at 1 pm and 6:30 pm.

“Come From Away” is recommended for ages 10 and older.
